We are absolutely thrilled with the hammock. Our 3.5 month old loves it and it has been a lifesaver for us for her daysleeps (previously would only sleep upright on me and would wake whenever I put her down). Just wanted to drop you an email to say thank you for the hammock and extras you sent Gill and I. Its awesome! And really generous of you.
So good in fact, that I will not be using a bassinette or cot again until our baby has outgrown the hammock, after that, it will be stored away for baby number 2. We LOVE the thing so much that we rave about it to anyone who'll listen and most people do once they see lochie tucked up in it safe and sound.
I really love it and so does a friend of mine who visited me three days ago.
Her baby has had terrible colic, and doesn't settle very well. Consequently, the colic has affected his feeding, and he's a small wee man for his age of 2 months.
While she was here, her little guy started to cry and cry and cry, so I took my little Lochie out of his hammock (which was hanging in the lounge where we had the fire going and it was lovely and warm) to breastfeed him, and told her to put Riley into it and just swing it gently and see if it helped.
Well she was totally blown away when 5 minutes after putting him in the hammock he stopped his desperate crying, then let out a huge burp, and then settled down, put his thumb in his mouth and feel asleep. He stayed that way until she left (reluctantly) at 3pm. Of course I had to pry her away from the hammock, because as much as I love her, I'm not parting with it for anything!
I think the way the hammock kind of has the baby in a "head above the body" position helped Riley bring up his gas better than lying flat, and the soft mattress was snuggly for him. After being in utero for so long it must be disturbing for babies to be put onto hard flat surfaces, and the hammock certainly takes care of that issue.
Suffice to say she has gotten me to get on trademe and buy her one immediately which I did last night. (She doesn't have internet access) You now have another convert who will be eternally grateful to you for your product and its a relief to see a poor little baby who formerly cried so much, suddenly settle down and relax enough to start with the thumb sucking and slept through two feedings when normally he would have cried not only out of wind pain, but hunger because he wasn't able to eat much at each feed.

Can I just say that the hammock is BRILLIANT and has completely changed our lives. My baby has slept in it since birth and is now 6 months. She loves sleeping and as a consequence we love all the sleep we're getting too. (Such a huge difference to our first child who was in a cot). I rave about it to everyone I meet and I even send photo's of it to friends. Thank you for this fantastic product! Well done.

"I feel able as a midwife and a mum to recommend the Natures Sway Hammock to all parents. We have used the hammock from day 1 and our baby has always gone to sleep happily in her own bed. As a midwife I see babies struggle to transition from in utero to the foreign feeling of a flat, firm surface of a bassinet and parents lose much sleep as they find alternate options in order for their babes and them to

"I'm a grandmother who has seen three of her grandchildren spend their early months sleeping in a Natures Sway baby hammock. I think these hammocks are a great way for babies to feel safe and secure and they are held firmly by the calico sides and soothed by the two-way movement. When my daughter brought the baby to visit, the hammock came too, so they had their familiar bed in unfamiliar surroundings. I had a hook in the ceiling in a bedroom to hang it from or sometimes we used the Jolly Jumper clamp in the doorway so the baby could be with us.
Another daughter tied a tape from the hammock to the top of her bed, when the baby was restless in the night she just jiggled the tape and the baby went back to sleep without mum having to get up. If only these hammocks had been around when I had my babies!"

"I just wanted to send a note to thank you for this amazing invention. I have an 11 week 
old colicky girl named Eliza. Eliza was miserable for many weeks and overtired due to her incessant bouts of screaming. I ordered your hammock from Nature Baby and had shipped express to California hoping that Eliza and I could get some relief. The day the hammock arrived I quickly washed it and bulit the stand. As the dryer buzzed I put up the hammock and put Eliza in it and within, literally, 30 seconds she was fast asleep. What a miracle. "The Natures Sway hammock we bought was perfect for our eight month old baby to sleep in, on our new 30ft boat. We have just enjoyed two weeks away on our boat and thought you may like to know how well the hammock worked for us. I am very pleased with the quality and aesthetics of the hammock.

"I'm a great believer in using good tools, so early in the pregnancy I started looking around the internet for unconventional ideas of things that might not get taught in the mainstream media and hospitals, etc. One of the things I soon came across was baby-hammocks. I looked at several different brands including some from overseas, and eventually decided that Natures Sway seemed the best.
My wife had a difficult labour, ending in emergency cesarean, and the hospital happened to be busy/noisy afterwards, so we ended up bringing her and baby Isaac home sooner than we'd expected, so they could rest better. When baby Isaac came home we moved the hammock into the living room, swaddled him into it, and Mum went to sleep in the bedroom. Isaac slept through for 6 hours! Letting Mum finally get some much-needed rest"

"Hi there - we have used one of your hammocks for all our babies and it has been a god send, especially for my second child who had reflux. We also look after adoption babies from time to time and they all really love being in the hammock. When I got pregnant again I had so been looking forward getting out our baby hammock and using it again. However I just found out I am having twins. I imagine they will want to sleep together when they are brand new. Have you ever had anyone use the hammock for twins? I know the easy solution would be to buy a second one, I was just wondering if there would be a way to sleep them together in one safely? Tiffany.
