Why choose a baby hammock?

Read what other parents had to say here.

Every parent knows that babies love to be held close and rocked gently to sleep. Nature’s Sway baby hammocks simulate that feeling of comfort and security which is vital to a healthy child’s development.

The gentle movement and snug embrace, naturally soothes babies, helping them drift off to sleep and even stay asleep longer.

What makes Nature’s Sway unique?

Natural materials.
Choosing natural materials with the correct properties, means we don’t have to use any potentially harmful synthetic materials or chemicals. For example, our mattresses are filled with 100% pure New Zealand wool, which is a natural heat insulator and resistant to dust mites, mould, bacteria and even fire.

New Zealand made quality.
Nature’s Sway products are handmade in Auckland using the highest quality materials New Zealand has to offer. Each hammock is carefully checked, to ensure the highest standards are always met.

Earth friendly.
We choose materials and processes that have the least impact on our precious Earth and reduce our contributions to air, water and land pollution.

Certified Organic.
Our organic fabrics are certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).

Your Nature's Sway Baby Hammock will include:
1 x organic cotton/hemp blend baby hammock (45% cotton, 55% hemp)
1 x wool mattress
1 x spring
1 x 0.5m chain with two carabiners
1 x beechwood spreader beam
1 x Organic cotton fitted sheet
2 x coach-eye ceiling screws
1 x door clamp
1 x instruction booklet
1 x hammock carry bag

Please note:
The baby hammock is designed to provide a very gentle curve for your new born baby, however, as baby gets older they may require a stiffener underneath the mattress to make the hammock base firmer and more open. These are recommended for babies 4kgs and over and are sold separately.

When a child is able to roll, sit, kneel or to pull themselves up, the hammock is no longer safe and should not be used.

Read the owner’s manual before use, and always observe all safety instructions.
